CASology Week #238: Crunch

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is Crunch.

I found this one challenging at first.  However, when I was snacking on an apple yesterday, something clicked and I just decided to go with it---a bowl of apples that are sweet and crunch when I bite into them.

Now it's your turn.  How does CRUNCH inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

PTI February 2017 Blog Hop

I am playing along with the PTI February 2017 Blog Hop today.  I took a short cut and used one of the coloring pages from Color Pop Autumn.

I was inspired by the dark background as well as the rich fall colors and gold accents.

Keeping it short today.  Enjoy the hop.

Time Out #77...Reminder...Sending Get Well Wishes

There is still time to play along with our current challenge at Time Out.  Our challenge this time is
a Home Sweet Home challenge, where we are inspired by this photo:

I was inspired by the bold and bright colors of this inspiration photo.  I picked a few of the colors and stamped a random background using Stamplorations Big Bloom Factory stamps, generously provided by our sponsor, Stamplorations.  After stamping my entire front panel, I cut a window to highlight my sentiment.

Please head over to Time Out to see more inspiration from our Design Team and Guest Designer. Our Guest Designer this week is KandA, so please stop by her blog to see what she has created for this challenge.  Stamplorations is our sponsor for this challenge.  Details for the prize are on the Time Out Challenge Blog.

This challenge will run another week.  I hope you will take some Time Out of your busy schedule to play along with us.

CASology Week #237: Score

Hello and happy Tuesday. It's time for another challenge at CASology.   This week, our cue word is SCORE.  Lots of ways to interpret this cue word.  I was originally thinking of something sports related, but I had these beautiful flower stamps on my desk, and I really wanted to use them.

I created a frame around my card front with score lines, and then added my die cut flowers, sentiment and sequins.

Now it's your turn.  How does SCORE inspire you?  I hope you play along this week.  Please remember to keep it Clean and Simple.

Please head on over to the CASology blog and gather some inspiration from the design team.

PTI Oldies But Goodies...Part 3

I did it!  Completed all of the PTI Anniversary Countdowns.  My first card is for the 2014 Challenge. My colors were inspired by the challenge at Just Us Girls #381.

I am also linking up at Seize the Birthday, where the optional topping is inlaid die cutting, and Paper Players #332 to use the sentiment as the focal point.

For the PTI 2015 Challenge, I pulled out Brushed Blooms, and copied a color scheme from DT member Michelle's pretty card.

I am also linking this one up at Retro Rubber #56: Birthday.

Finally, I am up to the 2016 Challenge, where I decided to use Tulip Time, one of my favorite floral sets.

I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #229: Clean and Simple and Simon Says Wednesday: Fantastic Florals.

Time for a rest!

PTI Oldies but Goodies....Part 2

I'm back with a few more cards for the PTI Anniversary festivities as well as some other challenges.

My first card uses Year of Flowers Collection, released in 2011, and I was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #275.

I am also entering this card at the PTI 2011 challenge and Simon Says Wednesday Fantastic Florals.

I was inspired by the PTI 2012 Anniversary Challenge and Keeway's beautiful card for my next card. I used Copic markers in a rainbow of colors.

I am also entering this card at Retro Rubber #56: They say it's your birthday.

Last up is my card for the PTI 2013 Anniversary Challenge, where I CASED a card by Nicole that I have always loved.

I am also entering this card at Addicted to Stamps and More #229: Clean and Simple.

I am getting closer and closer to present day.  I'll have to see what tomorrow brings to see if I can complete all of the challenges.

PTI Oldies but Goodies

Hello and happy Saturday.  I'm kicking off the weekend by posting some cards I've been working on, inspired by all the anniversary festivities at PTI as well as some other challenges.

First up is this card, inspired by the DT samples using a PTI set introduced in 2007, Beautiful Blooms.  I am entering this card at the PTI 2007 Anniversary, Addicted to Stamps and More #229: Clean and Simple, and Simon Says Monday: Use Your Favorite Tool.  I used an impression plate to add texture, one of my favorite things to do.

Moving on to 2008, I used Garden of Life for this PTI Challenge.  My card design was inspired by Tracey's card at Muse #203, and I am also entering this card at Simon Says Wednesday: Fantastic Florals, and Retro Rubber #56:They Say It's Your Birthday.

Tracey's inspiration card for Muse #203

I was inspired to pull out On My Couch for PTI 2009 Challenge.  I used colors from Color Throwdown #430.

Last of all, I am up to 2010, where I pulled out Take Three Summer for the PTI Anniversary challenge.  I was inspired by the sketch at CAS Colours and Sketches #210, and am also entering at Addicted to CAS #105:  Wood.

That's all for me today.  I am hoping to get caught up on all the PTI challenges by tomorrow and I will post again if I can do it.
