CASology Week 121: Festive

It's time for another CASology challenge, and this week, our cue word is FESTIVE.  I think it is the perfect cue word to get inspired to do some holiday crafting.

Today is a special day because Tracey has invited all of the CASology DT to participate in her 25 Days of Christmas Tags celebration.  I have enjoyed being inspired by Tracey's Tag Celebrations over the past few years, and I am so excited to be participating as a guest designer this year.

Here is my tag, which also incorporates the CASology Cue Word of FESTIVE.

I started by cutting a tag out of kraft card stock using the PTI Bookmark Die.  Then, I simply stamped Neat & Tangled Warm Wishes in SU Cherry Cobbler on the tag.  Added a drop of Stickles in the center of the snow flake and threaded some soft thick felted ribbon I picked up on clearance last year, and my festive and CAS tag was done.

I thought it would be fun to make a little set, and played with different inks and embossing powders.

Embossed in White

Embossed in Gold

Embossed in Copper

Embossed in Verdegris

Embossed in Red Cinnabar

I will be entering the gold and copper tags over at Virginia's View Challenge #9 for All Things Metallic, and also entering the tags at Addicted to CAS:  TAG.

Did you know that Tracey is offering all kinds of fabulous prizes?  Along with the daily inspiration from Tracey and all her guests, she is also offering prizes from the following amazing companies:

All you need to do is leave a comment on Tracey's blog for each one of the days (plus the main prize draw *here*) and you'll be entered into a draw to win some yummy goodies! You have until 11:59pm EST on November 27th to enter - so make sure you check out Tracey's blog and get your name into the hat!

AND THERE'S MORE! I'm also giving you an extra chance to win today by commenting on this post!! You have until 11:59pm EST on November 26th to comment, then I'll pick one commenter at random and pass their name onto Tracey to be included in the draw! So please do leave a comment! :) All winners will be drawn on 28th November. :)

So, what do you think?  Are you all set to create something inspired by the word FESTIVE?  Do you think you will make a tag?  While all of the CASology designers made FESTIVE tags, you do not need to make a tag.  Make anything you like, so long as it is Clean and Simple and inspired by the word FESTIVE.

Check out the beautiful designs from the CASology Design Team members and see how they were inspired by FESTIVE.  Don't forget to keep your card Clean and Simple.
